Why are we here?
What is the meaning of life?

We all have questions! It’s a key part of our humanity and if we are being honest, questions are really good! They help us move forward in our pursuit of knowledge and help us grow. This is a space to help you on your journey for answers. Here at St Mary’s we don’t claim to know everything but would love to explore and look into some of these questions with you! And as Christians we believe Jesus asks us some pretty interesting questions himself! So we would love to help you in your search in whatever way we can. Below are some of the ways we might be able to help.

Ask someone

Tony, our Vicar, is more than happy to chat with you or your children about any questions you might have about God, life, Jesus, Christianity etc. He doesn’t claim to have all the answers but is more than happy to offer some things to think about and chat about what he believes and why. You can drop him an email by clicking on his image below.

Join a Connect Group

Here at St Mary’s our home groups are called Connect Groups because it reminds us that the purpose of our groups are to connect with God, to connect with one another and to connect with the wider community of Watford and beyond.  We have a wide range of groups, each different in character, and due to the current social restrictions we have quite a few continuing to meet online!

Come to a Service

Sunday Morning - 10.30am - In church or on Zoom

Feel free to drop into our morning in person or via Zoom. Just email the office for the meeting details - office.stmaryswatford@gmail.com

Evening Encounter - 5.30pm - 4th Sunday of the Month - In church

An Evening Encounter is a new relaxed and informal service where all are welcome whatever type of week we have had. It’s a chance to encounter Jesus in new and creative ways with each service as unique and diverse as each of us are. One month you might be encountering Jesus through the story of Zaccheaus another month you might be invited to a Wedding at Cana. Whether you are curious about Jesus or have been a long-time follower this service is for everyone. So come and see! And the service doesn’t end at church, why not come to the pub afterwards for a post-Evening Encounter!
